Kimberly-Clark Professional will be showcasing its solutions for the aviation industry at NBAA 2015, the National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition, taking place later this month in Las Vegas. The company will be demonstrating a range of wiping solutions and personal protection products to elevate the performance of critical manufacturing and return-to-service tasks. Among the solutions to be featured are its Jackson Safety G29 Solvent Protection Glove, engineered to provide greater hand protection and improved dexterity for aviation workers using solvents, hydraulic fluids or turbine oils, and its Kimtech A2 Aviation Wipes for Abrasive Surfaces, with low-lint properties that reduce the risk of contamination when preparing composite surfaces for bonding and painting. In addition to providing precision performance products, Kimberly-Clark Professional offers the Efficient Workplace program, an on-site assessment that helps aviation companies identify simple ways to make their facilities healthier, safer and more productive. The company is also collaborating with Eastman Aviation Solutions, a division of Eastman Chemical Company and the maker of Skydrol aviation hydraulic fluids, to develop integrated solutions that make surface preparation and maintenance servicing tasks more efficient. “This marks Kimberly-Clark Professional’s first appearance at the NBAA convention and underscores our mission to deliver solutions to business aviation customers that routinely optimize their performance,” says Stephen Burn, global aerospace marketing leader, Kimberly-Clark Professional. “As a company with a heritage of innovation and a long history in corporate aviation, we bring insights and expertise to meet the needs of general aviation operators, as well as original equipment manufacturers and maintenance & repair organizations. Working with industry leaders like Eastman Aviation Solutions, we are advancing the development of customized tools that increase efficiency, reduce waste and costs, and keep aviation workers safer, healthier and more productive.”
